Welcome to the research group website of Professor Xiao Kuang
-We engineer forms and functions of soft (bio)materials for sustainability and healthcare!
We focus on the design and advanced manufacturing of functional soft (bio)materials/systems. Leveraging multiscale polymer design and characterization, additive manufacturing techniques, ultrasound technology, modeling/machine-learning tools, and bioengineering approaches, the AM2 Lab seeks to advance transformative design and manufacturing of multifunctional materials and (bio)systems for enhanced material/energy sustainability and precision health!
(Feb 14, 2025) Andrea Relucio joined the team as an undergraduate research assistant. Welcome!
(Feb 10, 2025) Dr. Kuang gave a virtual guest lecture titled “Instructive Biomaterials Enable 3D (Bio) Printing for Regenerative and Precision Medicine” to the BME students at Tufts University.
(Jan 7, 2025) Ziwen Wang joined the team as a PhD student. Welcome!
